Tamraght in a nutshell
Tamraght lies on the coast road between Agadir and Taghazout, and Aourir is its neighbour. The two places are close enough that surf schools and retreats use the names together. One retreat gives its address as Tamraght Oufella, Aourir, Agadir. That shows there are surf and yoga stays in the village itself, not only in Taghazout.
This page shows where the surf is, how you travel from here and which stays are published. Whether Tamraght suits you better than the village of Taghazout depends on your plans, so compare the offers on your dates. Prices below were published in 2026 and may change.

Where to surf from Tamraght
Two breaks stand out, and both have a school's view attached.
Devil's Rock
A sandy break with left and right waves, placed near Tamraght. Panorama Surf School lists it for all levels, including beginner lessons. A retreat in Tamraght describes it as working in small to medium swell. A sandy beach is not a safety guarantee, so ask the instructor about the day.
All surf spots โBanana Point
One school places it in Aourir and lists it for beginners to intermediates on a right-hand wave over sand. The tide advice is not agreed: one school says low tide, another says mid to high. Check with a local instructor before you go.

Aourir and the coast road
Aourir sits beside Tamraght on the same coast road, and Banana Point is placed there. If you want to visit a market or shops, ask at your accommodation for current days and hours.
The road to Paradise Valley also leads through Aourir. A regional tourism portal describes the route as the coast road to Aourir, then an onward road towards Imouzzer, and says return rides become scarce after 4 p.m. That description is older, so confirm it locally. The valley itself has its own page at Visit Agadir.

Getting around from Tamraght
Tamraght is its own stop, not a stand-in for Taghazout.
Private shuttle
The shuttle company Souk to Surf lists Tamraght as a departure point separate from Taghazout, with trips to Imsouane and to the airport. The stops are not interchangeable, so book the one you will use. Tickets are sold online, and vehicles stop only where there are bookings.
Local buses
A regional guide describes line 32 from Agadir to Taghazout and line 33 from Agadir to Tamri through Aourir, Tamraght and Taghazout. It gives roughly MAD 7.5โ10 depending on distance, paid in cash on the bus. This is a secondary description, so ask your hotel for current times.
Airport
The ALSA airport bus runs to Agadir at MAD 50 one way, and from there you need a second leg. See getting there for the options and prices, and the Agadir airport page for the airport itself.

Practical notes
Small things that save trouble.
Yoga in the package
The retreat lists 5 rooftop yoga sessions of 60 to 75 minutes, open to all levels. The time depends on the sunset.
Yoga retreats โCash
Smaller hotels and shops may take only cash, according to the German foreign office. Carry dirham, and withdraw before you leave a larger town.
Parking at the spots
A local guide lists MAD 5 for a parking guard at several surf spots. It is a local custom, not an official fee.
Booking a stay
The retreat asks for a deposit of โฌ100 per guest. From 15 to 29 days before arrival it treats the deposit as credit valid for 12 months. These are one operator's terms, so read the terms of the stay you choose.
