Taghazout quad biking: where the tracks run
Taghazout quad biking means leaving the surf village behind. The tracks lead through the Agadir area, over sandy desert pistes, hills and villages, and down to the Atlantic coast.
Every tour is guided, and most add sandboarding on a dune or a mint tea on the beach to the ride. Sandboarding means climbing the dune on foot first, so the legs get a workout too. Prices below are per person and current as of November 2026.

Four quad tours compared
Quad safari with a tea break, 4 hours, €17
This one starts with a hotel pickup in Agadir, with a Taghazout pickup as an option. Helmet, goggles, guide and a safety briefing are included. Children under 16 ride as passengers with an adult, and the tour is not for pregnant women. It is the shortest way to a first ride.
Quad and sandboarding, 4 hours, €16
Pickup is in Agadir or Tamraght. Choose it if you want both on one afternoon. People with back problems and pregnant women should skip it, and under 16s ride behind an adult.
Desert to coast with sandboarding, 5 hours, €13
Quad, fuel, helmet, goggles, a safety briefing and a practice session are included, and so are sandboarding equipment and tea on the beach. Beginners are welcome, and the guide sets the pace. Pickup is in Agadir, with Taghazout as an option. Riders aged 16 and over drive after passing a short skills test, 12 to 15 year olds ride as passengers, and a quad carries at most 160 kg in total.
Sunset sandboarding with optional quad, 6 hours, €15
The sunset trip goes to the Timlalin dunes and a small canyon on the coast, with sandboarding, a campfire and music. Pickup covers Agadir and Taghazout in an air-conditioned vehicle. The quad ride and the Moroccan dinner are options you add when booking. The age limits and the 160 kg limit per quad match the desert-to-coast tour.
What the price differences mean
Length does not drive the gap: the five-hour desert-to-coast tour costs less than the four-hour safari. The sunset trip sits at €15 because its quad ride and dinner are options, so the total depends on what you add. For a first ride with the least fuss, take the safari. For a longer day with a practice session, take the desert-to-coast tour. For evening light and a campfire, take the sunset trip.
Wear closed shoes and comfortable clothes that can get dusty. Sunglasses, sunscreen and a light jacket are useful, particularly on the coast in the evening. The guide forbids racing and dangerous driving. All four tours allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
Our picks: quad bike tours
The four-hour safari with a tea break suits a first ride, the desert-to-coast tour adds a practice session, and the sunset trip heads for the Timlalin dunes with a campfire.
