How Taghazout surf camps work
Most camps sell a package: a bed, a set number of lesson days, board and wetsuit, and some meals. Some also add transfers from Agadir airport. Others sell the parts separately, so you can build a stay around your own dates. The camp and the school are often the same business, but not always.
The offers below come from single providers and were published in October 2026. They show what one product costs, not a market range. They are not final checkout prices for your dates, and a published offer does not show free beds. British pounds are given as published and are not converted.

Published packages compared
Prices are per person, as published in 2026.
| Package | Price | Nights | Lessons | What the provider lists |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Surf Berbere, Surf School | GBP 433 | 7 | 5 days | Board, wetsuit, 7 dinners, airport transfers |
| Surf Berbere, Surf and Yoga | GBP 470 | 7 | 5 days | Same core, plus 5 sunset yoga classes |
| The Pearl, Full Reset, dorm | from EUR 510 | 6 | 5 supervised days | Equipment, meals, spot transfers, Agadir airport transfer, 5 yoga sessions |
| The Pearl, Full Reset, twin | EUR 550 | 6 | 5 supervised days | Same programme |
| The Pearl, Full Reset, private double | EUR 610 | 6 | 5 supervised days | Same programme |
| The Pearl, Full Reset, triple suite | EUR 630 | 6 | 5 supervised days | Same programme |
The nights and currencies differ, so the totals do not compare like for like. The village camp sells seven nights with transfers, while the Tamraght retreat sells six nights and adds yoga and meals. A third provider advertises reduced offers of EUR 349 for 7 nights, EUR 249 for 5 nights and EUR 149 for 2 nights. Ask what is covered and whether the price is per person or per room before you compare it with the packages above.

What to check before you book
The wording differs more than the prices do.
Where the lessons happen
Beginners learn best on sand beaches such as Devil's Rock near Tamraght. Anchor Point and Killer Point are for experienced surfers, with rock and reef underfoot. If a camp places beginners at a reef break, ask why. See the surf guide for each spot.
What "all inclusive" covers
It covers only what the provider lists. Check lunch, drinks, transfers, board and wetsuit hire and whether guiding is part of the lessons. A village camp lists lessons with lunch at GBP 25 and guiding with lunch at GBP 25 as separate items.
Instructor training
Schools mention qualifications and association certificates in their own words. These are private claims, not a state licence. Ask who teaches, how many students share one instructor and whether the school carries insurance.
Deposit and cancellation
Terms differ by provider and cannot be carried over. One Tamraght retreat asks for EUR 100 per guest to hold a place. It refunds in full up to 30 days before arrival, and for 15 to 29 days it keeps the deposit as credit valid for 12 months. Read the terms of any camp before you pay.
Dates and group discounts
The village camp sets no fixed arrival days and mentions group and student discounts on request, without a published rate. Ask by message.
