Agadir to Taghazout: the options

There is no single through ticket from the airport to Taghazout. You choose between a private shuttle, a transfer arranged by a surf camp, or a public bus plus a second leg. The bus is the cheapest, the shuttle and the camp transfer are simpler with luggage and boards.

One hotel in Taghazout Bay states 43 km from the airport to its door. That is a hotel distance, not a measured route to the village centre. Prices below were published in 2026, and none of them is a booking quote for your date.

The ALSA Aerobus in detail

What the airport bus covers.

Price and ticket

The fare is MAD 50 per person one way, or MAD 80 return with a ticket valid for 15 days. Tickets are sold on the bus or at the ALSA office in the airport. Ask about child fares when you buy.

Route

The operator names the Vallée des Oiseaux as the change point, together with the tourist sector of Agadir and Inezgane. The bus does not go on to Taghazout.

Times

Weekday departures from the airport run at 00:00, 01:00, 05:00 and 07:00, then hourly until 23:00. That is not a continuous night service. Saturday and Sunday have separate tables, so check the day you fly.

The second leg

From Agadir, a taxi or the local line to Taghazout completes the trip. Ask at the Agadir stop which one suits your luggage. Space for surfboards on city buses is not guaranteed.

Private shuttle and taxi

Door to door, with the limits of each.

Shuttle

The shuttle company Souk to Surf lists the airport to Taghazout at €10 and 1 hour 5 minutes. All tickets are booked online, and vehicles stop only where there are bookings. Do not count on a spontaneous seat.

Camp transfer

A surf camp lists an airport transfer at MAD 300 per vehicle for up to 4 people, about 55 minutes to the camp. It is not a fixed taxi rate set by an authority. The camp describes sharing the cost with other guests as possible.

Included in packages

Some weekly packages include airport transfers. One surf camp's package and one retreat's package both list them. Check this before you pay twice.

Taxi on arrival

Agree the price before you get in, and ask whether luggage or a night ride costs extra.

Once you are there

Moving along the coast.

Taghazout, Tamraght and Aourir sit along the same coast road, and local lines 32 and 33 connect them with Agadir. For Imsouane there is a direct shuttle from Taghazout at €12 each way, 1 hour 15 minutes, with departures at 10:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and returns at 11:25 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. See the Imsouane page. Parking is a separate question. Free self-parking is listed for Marriott guests only, which tells you nothing about the village.

If you arrive in Agadir by other routes, the city and its airport side have their own pages at Visit Agadir and the Agadir to Marrakech route. After landing, choose your base on the where to stay page.
